Overview

Brighton & Hove City Council is consulting on future admission arrangements for the city’s community schools, Moulsecoomb Primary School and City Academy, Whitehawk. These arrangements will take effect from September 2023.

The consultation runs from 15 November 2021 to 2 January 2022.

The following groups are invited to give their views on the proposals put forward in this document:

  • parents of children between the ages of two and 18;
  • other people in the geographical area of Brighton & Hove
  • all other admission authorities within Brighton & Hove;
  • school governors;
  • East Sussex and West Sussex County Councils;
  • in the case of schools designated with a religious character, the body or person representing the religion or religious denomination such as the Catholic Diocese of Arundel and the Diocese of Chichester

The responses to this consultation will be presented to the council’s children, young people & skills committee at a meeting in January 2022.
