Consultation on a proposal to expand Hill Park Special School by establishing a satellite site at the Cedar Centre

Overview

Brighton and Hove City Council has a statutory obligation to provide enough school places for all young people in Brighton and Hove, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The Council has identified a gap for autistic children and young people who have anxiety and mental health issues but not a learning disability. To address this gap it is proposed to expand Hill Park Special School by opening a satellite provision at the Cedar Centre site.
