Statutory notices in relation to Hertford Infant School/Hertford Junior School becoming a single school.

Overview

In accordance with the Education and Inspections Act 2006, as amended, (the Act) it is proposed by Brighton & Hove City Council, Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove, BN3 3BG to make prescribed alterations to both Hertford Infant and Junior Schools.

The first proposal, being made by the Local Authority, Brighton & Hove City Council, is to close Hertford Junior School, 66 Lynchet Close, Brighton BN1 7FP, from 1st September 2024

This proposal is linked to a further proposal to change the age range of Hertford Infant School from 7 to 11 to 4+ to 11 on the same date and to relocate the school from Hertford Road, Brighton, BN1 7GF to 66 Lynchet Close, Brighton, BN1 7FP.
