Overview

We would like to thank you for assisting with the  development of the Homelessness & Rough Sleeping Strategy 2020-2025 for Brighton and Hove. Following a review of homelessness and analysis of the consultation feedback, the first draft of the strategy was presented to Housing Committee members on the 15th January 2020.  A final stage of consultation was approved.

The draft strategy is intended to be an agile document, to allow us to respond to the fast pace of change in homelessness and rough sleeping in the city. It will also need to link into other commitments including the City Plan 2020-23 (document will open in a new window).

We are now inviting you to comment on the Draft Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy before we submit a final draft to Housing Committee on the 11th March 2020.  We have also made two background documents available, the Homelessness Review and the Draft Consultation feedback Report 2019.  Both documents will open in new windows.

Feedback form this consultation will be added to the consultation feedback report and submitted to the Housing Committee on 11 March 2020. Once the Homelessness & Rough Sleepers Strategy has been approved it, and supporting documents will be available at Policy and Strategies in General Housing.
