We’re consulting on proposals to develop 13 ‘move-on’ flats on the site of the former Hollingbury Library for people ready to move from higher support accommodation into self-contained homes.
The proposed new ‘move-on’ homes will be for people who have previously been homeless and are ready to live in their own self-contained flat with support.
Everyone moving in would be assessed to make sure they’re ready to take the next step towards independent living.
We’re also holding drop-in sessions between 3.30pm and 6pm on Monday 3 June and between 6pm and 8.30pm on Thursday 6 June at the Old Boat Corner Community Centre for any residents who want to come along and discuss the proposals.
The project will be partly-funded through a £750,000 government grant through Homes England.
Come along to the Boat Corner Community Centre and discuss the proposals.
