Hove Station Neighbourhood Forum Renewal Consultation

Closed 15 Aug 2019

Opened 4 Jul 2019

Overview

The Hove Station Neighbourhood Forum  was designated in September 2014. The Hove Station Neighbourhood Area was later designated in December 2014. The forum’s designation lasts for 5 years and expires on 18 September 2019.

The forum has applied to the council to formally renew its designation in accordance with the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 the Localism Act 2011 and the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012.

The neighbourhood area boundary remains identical to the original boundary that was designated in 2014.  Renewal will enable the Hove Station Neighbourhood Forum to continue to prepare the Hove Station Neighbourhood Plan for the area.

To date,  the Hove Station Neighbourhood Forum has produced a Draft Neighbourhod Plan which was subject to public consultation in the spring of 2019 under Regulation 14.

The forum is required to have a written constitution that describes the basic framework of the organisation and a minimum of 21 members.
