Lewes Road Triangle communal recycling

Closes 28 Jul 2019

Opened 1 Jul 2019

A communal refuse service has been in place in the Lewes Road Triangle since 2013 to resolve the general waste problem of split bags and street mess.

Communal refuse bins replaced the previous sacks service due to the lack of storage space for wheelie bins for the majority of properties within your area.

We would like to offer residents in your area a complete communal waste collection service by replacing the current box scheme with communal recycling bins.

We would like to hear your views on the proposal to introduce a communal recycling service in your area.

Final decisions for the placement of bins on the public highway will be subject to Traffic Order Regulations (TRO) through consultation.
